Baltic amber stone with fossil insects - Phoridae, Limulomya tyche, scuttle flies winged males are common in amber but wingless females are very rare and extremely rare pair of scuttle flies in same piece. It is interesting in this piece that male looks like holding female with a wing.


It weighs 1.6 grams. Measurements of stone 27x19x5mm, length of male body and head ~ 1.7mm, female ~ 1mm.
