Baltic amber huge stone with unique example of parasitism - very large Nematoda Mermithidae is climbing out of cadisfly Trichoptera. At the place of Cadisfly abdomen remains there is big curled worm. There is not much of abdomen left, only remains near the head. Abdomen as if exploded when the worm started climbing out.
It weighs 2.1 grams. Measurements of stone 34x23x4mm, length of caddisfly body with wings ~ 7mm, Nematoda 7.5mm curled.
